TEACHERS: BEING A BRIGHT IDEAS EARLY BIRD COULD WIN YOU $100
Four County EMC is accepting applications for Bright Ideas education grants to fund creative, classroom-based learning projects. The final deadline to apply is September 23, 2016, but teachers who submit their application by the ‘early bird’ deadline of August 15 will be entered for a chance to win one of five $100 gift cards. FOUR COUNTY EMC DONATES FANS TO HELP ELDERLY CITIZENS
Four County Electric Membership Corporation has donated 100 fans to facilities that serve elderly citizens. In turn, the agencies give the fans to the elderly who do not have access to fans or air conditioned living. more

Visit the Co-ops Vote web site, WWW.VOTE.COOP, and take the pledge to BECOME A CO-OP VOTER to support your community and electric cooperative when casting your vote in 2016.  The web site will give you information on your elected officials and candidates, the voter registration process, election dates and locations, and background about eight key co-op issues we want our elected leaders to understand: rural broadband access, hiring and honoring veterans, low-income energy assistance, cybersecurity, water regulation, rural health care access, affordable and reliable energy, and renewable energy.
